The Warren County Dog Park Association (WCDPA) is a grassroots 501(c)3 non-profit association formed to bring together dog lovers to promote the establishment of off-leash recreation in our community.  The WCDPA is comprised of four executive board members and hundreds of community supporters.

Our mission is to contribute to the health and well-being of people and domestic dogs through advocating for the inclusion, design, construction, maintenance and safe operation of enclosed, off-leash recreation areas in Front Royal and Warren County.

The association will be the fund-raising and maintenance organization for the park until it can be accepted into the Warren County Parks and Recreation system. The WCDPA is building relationships regarding awareness raising and has begun fund-raising for the project.  The operations of the WCDPA are 100% volunteer and are modeled after successful dog parks across the nation.  By far the most successful parks are those formed by a partnership of dog owner associations and local government.
