Goals

• To create a safe, attractive, easily accessible, well-maintained, fenced-in area where citizens who are willing to uphold the park’s rules can come every day to socialize while their dogs run off-leash.
• To allow citizens to have the pleasure of watching their dogs at play
• To contribute to the overall physical fitness of people by encouraging them to exercise with their dogs
• To promote additional off-leash areas in the county
• To educate the public of the health and safety benefits of off-leash areas and to the benefits of having pets
• To partner with the local Humane Society and Animal Shelter to encourage responsible pet ownership
• To allow dogs, as pack animals, to interact socially with other dogs.
